COVID-19 UPDATE: Your safety and health are important to us. Due to the novel coronavirus and the practice of social distancing, ALL in-person group classes are suspended until further notice. 

We have partnered with Laughing Dogs Daycare and Training Services, in Lake Mills! We will be offering group classes, workshops and presentations. Each group class or workshop has a limit of 4 dogs. The following is a list of classes/workshops we will offer. Please keep in mind that these classes and workshops may not be offered consecutively. There must be a at least 3 paid registrations for a class or workshop to run. All dogs in attendance must be dog and people friendly.

Please Note: If you have a dog that barks, lunges, pulls toward or growls at other dogs and/or people, please contact us for private training or a referral to another class more appropriate for your dog.

Puppy Essentials 1 (puppies 12 weeks & younger ). This is a six-week class that meets for one hour each week and is limited to 4 dogs. Have puppy, now what? Learn how to make training fun,  communicate with your puppy, gain cooperative care and body handling components and the skills needed to effectively socialize and train your puppy. When registering for this class your puppy must be 12 weeks or younger at the start of the first class. Offered as a virtual online group class. Contact us for more info.

Puppy Essentials 2 (puppies 13-18 weeks ).  This is a six-week class that meets for one hour each week and is limited to 4 dogs. Learn the top knowledge components and skills needed to effectively train your puppy and having fun while doing it! When registering for this class your puppy must be 18 weeks or younger at the start of the first class. Offered as a virtual online group class. Contact us for more info.

Dog Essentials class is for older puppies and dogs 5 mos. and older. This is a six-week class that meets for one hour each week and is limited to 4 dogs. In this class dogs will learn the basic foundation to polite behaviors, such as: Staying in place until released, impulse control, how to settle, how to sit and wait politely, walk politely on leash, coming to YOU is fun and rewarding.  You will learn the skills to help teach your dog in a fun and rewarding environment! Walk This Way Struggling to walk your dog? Does your dog pull or drag you around? Are you ready to learn great leash skills? We offer fun and easy solutions with our Walk This Way (WTW) program! This is a six-week class to meets for one hour each week and is limited to 4 dogs. You gain knowledge and leash skills through fun games to help your dog walk loosely on a leash.  Dogs of all ages welcome.

Canine Fun Scent Games  Our “Canine Fun Scent Games” is a six-week class that meets for one hour each week and is limited to 4 dogs. Your dog will learn fun games to search for food and is not taught at competitive sport level. This popular activity is for enrichment and enables you to wear your dog out mentally, so it is ideal for active dogs, dogs with physical limitations or anyone who just wants to  play a fun game with their dog. Dogs learn to systematically search boxes and other objects for hidden food. The level of difficultly increases each week and is fun and fascinating for both canine and human! Dogs of all ages welcome.

Dog Bite Prevention and Safety presentations will also be offered periodically or can be scheduled by schools, boy or girl scouts, or other organizations/clubs and are for humans only, no dogs will be allowed. This presentation is an educational tool for both parents and children. You will learn dog body language, dog safety and bite prevention tools to help you enhance your relationship with your own dog, to communicate with and recognize when a dog you come in contact with is uncomfortable, helping both human and dog stay safer.
